As you can see from the second link and config, you can customize in fine detail which version of a video (youtube in most cases) should be downloaded. (I have no interest in AV1 codec; vp9 also not much but sadly it’s often the highest quality on YouTube with 5k/8K resolution videos)
[Code] Personally I mostly used a simple:
-f 137+140/22/135+140/18
Which basically gets H264 in either: 1080p/720p/480p/360p
Obviously I will not get the 4k version of a video with this.
