svtplay sometimes does, sometime does not. When they are there, TVDownloader and other software will rip them.

I am afraid I don't have ANYTHING. I did not want to invest time or effort into downloading this from any source if there was no possibility of any subtitles. More and more often now I am downloading subtitles FIRST, then getting the video. English would be ideal but Swedish subtitles for this are more likely, and machine-translatable. You mentioned drastically edited subtitles 2 years ago, but I don't even know what BK is.

You guys know this is in parts on YouTube in crummy quality, right?

Anyone who has a VPN (I currently do not) and wants this in Swedish can likely get a good version from svtplay. If it gives them joy to share it, that would be lovely.

Those Swedish subs... because I don't know language I don't know how important those shortenings in the dialog are.
About movie quality.... I obtained mine (3,63 gb) from well-known Swedish buccaneers and the quality is reasonable (better than at youtube)

I have been disappointed by svtplay before, so I am surprised they actually had the subs.
