It was time to watch this when I found it on a hard drive and could not remember what it was from the title. I thoroughly enjoyed it despite some disagreements with the adults. The interaction of Rachel and Michael is a Freudian delight. Or maybe I just have an incredibly dirty mind?
He pulls out a mouse from his pocket and lets her play with him.

He impulsively lets her keep him "for good" and she is very pleased.

He happily obliges her request for a drink from his water pistol.

While stroking his hair, she asks to join him on his African adventure.

She claims she will not be afraid of the wildlife.

(I will not reveal what prompted this decision.)

He got out his dinghy and pumped it up firm and large.

She wants to wait, while he thinks they should ride it today.
[Image]
She does not seem convinced.

In her reluctance she suggests something else.

He is insistent that they get used to his dinghy.
[Image]
Challenged, she still insists she is not afraid.

He paddles his dinghy from behind her and she enjoys it immensely.

Finally, Rachel has the adorable habit of licking her lips when she is thinking.

I know, Mr. Night that it would be EXTREMELY inappropriate for me to say how much I've always enjoyed whipping out MY dinghy and having it pumped up firm and large so I will take the high road and NOT make that comment. (No matter how much I'm tempted...)

oh wow, it has been over a decade since i last watched this to the point where I forgot this movie even existed
