I assume that this is a fake, too good to be true. Die Wilden Hühner Trilogy (2006-2008) BDRip 1080p [Hurtom] 23.56GB I have spent two weeks stalled with 0 bytes loaded. If any one has managed to get these PLEASE share them on a torrent.

I have the same or similar files for the first two movies from Blizzardkid. The torrents I can find now for the Trilogy are completely dead, so I was not able to get a 8+Gb file for the third movie.

Career-wise she seems a dummy, especially given how much her mother is still working. Might be a case of #Nepobaby so arrogant? Oddly enough the one with the biggest career post Wilden Huhner is Zsá Zsá Inci, the relatively speaking fattest one. I've not seen any of her films as an adult, so if she lost that babyfat, IDK.
There are just 3 of the 7 kids who "made it" as actors, also the boy and Lucie Hollman "Frieda"... the lead Michelle von Treuberg "Sprotte" stopped acting, kinda, which is sad. And Sonja Gerhardt, who replaced Paula, has the biggest career of all, two quite good nude roles in big German TV shows (around age 25, so hush), which is a pity, depending on POV etc. The transition of child actresses into adult acting careers.... a whole other s---show unto itself, sometimes very sad. I should start a thread on this. Biggest pity: Ariel Besse! Thoughts?

The situation with Madeleine Desdevises, the girl who starred at age 11 in La Drôlesse (1979) is even sadder. She was diagnosed with leukemia shortly after the movie premiered and eventually died when she was 15. Madeleine never made another movie because of her illness.

But yeah, going from child to adult actor is always tough. A lot of them never make it. One thing I will say, there are basically two ways to start an acting career. The Disney/Nickelodeon route: doing kids' content first and then transitioning to adult roles. Or you take child roles in movies and TV shows aimed at adult audiences - that's usually the better of the two, the more you can show your acting skills in serious and intense situations the more likely you'll get called in to read for adult parts in your late teens, i.e. you're taken more seriously from the start.

A "Disney" / child-actor route is only a serious option in America, even European countries struggle to provide such a thing, even though they maybe rich. Sweden and France are the exceptions.

To research this adequately, first a benchmark should be set up: What constitutes "making it"? Is that definition to keep acting beyond their 30s, even if it is in bit parts, voice over and shorts? Or do we set the bar higher? At least 3-5 feature films, one starring role in a TV show?
And then just count: How many child actors who have a starring role as children, go on to become successful?
Solid research might also dispel the conservative myth that "all child actresses end up on drugs" and having so-called "pre-marital" sex ...As if THAT's a bád thing, somehow ...?

A very tiny percentage goes the drugs and alcohol route, but that is not just happening to child actors but everywhere. My guess is that most child actors have very vigilant parents, who do a lot to prevent exactly that.......

There is serious doubt as to whether Karin Trentephol was the girl's real name. So it's hard to track where she went after that. If she got back into acting in her twenties under her real name, maybe we just don't know it's her.

Yes, it would be hard to set a standard since so many child actors remain in the business in a marginal capacity for many years. Occasional bit parts and voice roles. That sort of thing. But some more detailed research into the career prospects of child actors would be interesting. Does getting into the business early help or hurt? My guess: it depends on the individual. Kids who actually push their parents into letting them act (instead of the other way around) probably do just fine.

Young actors who make a splash early on playing children in adult films or TV shows appear to do better than the ones who go the kids' content route, however I admit this is mostly based on anecdotal evidence. There just seem to be a lot of Disney/Nickelodeon type shows where maybe one of the actors you've seen as an adult but the rest are like ... whatever happened to her? In contrast you have girls like Chloe Moretz and Millie Bobby Brown, both of whom did edgy roles at a young age and it propelled them to success. Fewer child actors who start their careers this way seem to fizzle out and disappear - although like I said, I have no solid facts and figures to back that up.

The biggest obstacle isn't kids becoming entitled little twits who keep getting in trouble, or burnout leading to substance abuse or simply quitting the business. It seems to be getting pigeonholed by well known "cute kid" roles which then limit how casting directors and the public at large see them.

i'm not convinced that "disney" roles are a good predictor of a short career. I think it has to do with workload. If a Disney route means a taxing TV-show schedule which give them a burnout, then yes. But if the parents manage it so that they only act during the summer holidays, or just recurring roles, then maybe not.

There are examples of all four cases:
Besse, Liljeberg, Brendler and Nosbusch all did serious roles, first two stopped acting, latter two are still there.
Emily Osment is a Disney router, as is little sis Spears. One still acts, one doesn't
Lisa Jakub and Mara Wilson then? Big family movies drama, yet, stopped acting.

Sure. And on a dozen other factors: how wealthy is the family? Is the child the sole provider for the family? Is there enough money to bring the kid to and from acting class, auditions etc.
Can they afford mom moving to LA with the tike while Dad holds the fort down in Nowhereville USA taking care of the other 1.7 kids?

Does acting mean you gotta leave your hometown, can you stand that, are you being discriminated against or not? Young white girls work about 4 times as much as adult black men, and while older females' situation is improving but still not the same as older white males.
Then there's luck. And nepotism.
