This is not confined to the Scottish Islands. Many people consider that where I live we enjoy the pleasures of small farmyard animals, especially sheep. Although untrue (it's virtually entirely arable around here) I'm not one to dispel a myth so I promptly purchased an inflatable sheep (as sold on eBay) for the entertainment factor. 'Dolly', as she was christened, had a full & varied life until she suffered an unfortunate accident on a local trading estate when inflated with acetelene & a fuse attached......... I even have the video..........

We used to fill small balloons with acetylene in an old building I worked in and lay them across a lit cigarette. When the butt burned down far enough - [blink]
BOOM![/blink] It shook the dust right out of the rafters.

apparently its better if you take the sheep to the edge of the cliff because it pushes back more.
