Thanks for the explanations. I am not sure but I assume for actual filming parental consent is required (no matter the content. A 17yo is still the responsibility of the parents and they have the authority). I guess If two French 16yo‘s get together parents can’t do much. But if the other person is much older they can prohibit it most likely and in Germany for example the laws are written like that as well.Night457 wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 6:07 pm This is a French film, and Google says the age of consent in France is 15. There may be different rules for what is portrayed on film, but this is not porn anyway. All sex scenes would be simulated. I do not know if filming rules in France require parental consent for a 16-year-old to appear on camera for ANY kind of movie. If so, then apparently here the parents approved.
Still, you are right that it was certainly not common for anyone so young to be in a "sexy" movie, even in "liberated" France.
As for ACTUAL porn movies -- In the majority of states in the United States the age of consent is 16. However, by federal law any porn movies with anyone under 18 are child porn and very illegal. So depending upon the state, a 17-year-old can legally consent to sex but NOT to sex on film. I don't know the French law on this matter.
A quick Google search tells me you are correct, that in France parents have to consent to under-18s to work. Except in unusual circumstances where a 16-year-old is legally emancipated.goku33 wrote: Sat Jan 28, 2023 6:23 pmI am not sure but I assume for actual filming parental consent is required (no matter the content. There are recent laws made in France to firmly protect children UNDER 15 from adults, which suggests that those OVER 15 are still legally available to old people.I guess If two French 16yo‘s get together parents can’t do much. "Is it real or is it Memorex?" if by chance you know that old commercial. A live stream is not edited, so it is not so easy to suggest and simulate as you can in a fiction film. Many people got hysterical nose bleeds from "The Dakota Fanning Rape Scene" inBut if it would be a girl on an Instagram live stream it would be considered illegal already.
Can anyone help reshare this? Thanks!deadman wrote: Thu Feb 21, 2019 10:24 pm [Image]

This story of the teenage Camille and her first love, a boy named Sullivan, who meet again eight years after he leaves her to travel the world, stars lovely 16-year-oldLola Créton. In this interview
https://www.filmcomment.com/blog/interv ... irst-love/
director Mia Hansen-Løve describes how she decided to cast an actress who was the right age for the first part of the film, rather than a twentysomething who could more easily play Camille in the second part. So Lola needed to feign a maturity and worldliness not naturally hers to make the 8 year time jump convincing. Seems the director is no fan of the American cinematic tradition of using thirty year olds to play high school students. Can't say I disagree with her there!![]()

Moonlight there is another scene of children inside one but it doesn't show much.
Romeo and Juliet the boys have their love affair covered with blankets.
