None of your excuses make you keep posting off-topic stuff even after being asked not to, nor do they make you lie about your posts. If you want to talk in public about losing the admin spot, we can do that too but I'd think you'd want to avoid the embarrassment.

After more than a year of this same behavior from you, I'm not playing your game any longer. I'm telling you to your face that your releases will be examined more thoroughly than before. You must prove your releases are on-topic with screenshots, IMDb synopses, whatever. Based on your past actions, if I have any doubt, I'll dump them without even asking for other opinions. If you don't want to waste your time (and ours too, but you don't seem to care about that), forget about "extreme limit".

If that's too harsh for you, just don't release anything.

And we are very appreciative. But Rich, where is he now or where was he when the old site went bye bye? He turned it over to Ghost who also disappeared and then the old site ended, finished, is gone forever. Both great guys that are well respected for what they did back in the day but I am sure both understand that life changes and evolves. We live in a different more complex world today and as such we must be more strategic and subtle. We are still the same for the most part even though we have changed and will continue to change.
I am sure Rich would understand that some of us that do most of the providing of food for hungry dogs do not want to waste time and bandwidth for food that is better suited for a different table(forum). Rich would bomb us with 20 [REQ] at a time that some would pan out but many would not. In case you haven't noticed there are only a hand full of people here with the skills and willingness to bring the releases forward. Both me and the other few release providers have a real life and do not have the time to waste on verifying and basically doing all the work for someone else that fully knows better. (Think about it)

I think debaser was trying to explain why Rich could get away with it and why Art can't. Rich owned the board and, considering how slow ed2k can be, he was the only one who could without everyone howling in agony. Times have indeed changed. Instead of throwing a slab of steak in the pan with all the fat and gristle still on it, we want the inedible parts trimmed off first so just the lean juicy red meat is left.

Art has released a lot of good stuff and we really appreciate it. The off-topic stuff... not so much. I think he realizes we won't put up with him trying to force everyone else to do his homework for him. Time will tell, but I think this issue is probably over now.
