I hate to have to do this,but with all the continued debate over whether Brooke Shields was nude or not in Pretty baby... I'm going to provide a screenshot and prove she WAS!I darkened the image,but notice there is absolutely no thong on or anything else at the door scene!It is undoubtedly completely Brooke Shields Nude Butt in All it's form!Please let's stop debating what has long since been settled and discovered to be true.She did her own nude scenes when the real ones took place.For every last fan of hers to this day,it is a dream come true!

Also worth mentioning is the fact Brooke Shields herself stated that she was really Nude in Pretty Baby.For two scenes.That would be the daybed scene where she was posing for the photographer belloq.And then the scene like the screenshot I just posted.Her at the door bare bottomed.She backed up this movie history fact,when she told her teenage daughters about those controversial scenes in Pretty baby in recent years.You can find that out for yourself by watching that new documentary on her on the Hulu channel that was just released last month.It is called Pretty Baby Brooke Shields:just a heads up for all those dedicated rabid fans of hers, including myself.

I really don't want to start this discussion again, but she was wearing a string in this scene.

Ghost,please believe me on this.I know what I'm talking about!I have studied this film for years,and meticulously broken down every scene and possible outcome.She did wear that thong string piece indeed,for the scenes where she was around the other actors.Other than that,she was NUDE.When nobody was left in the room but the filmaker and cinematographer.That is only the imprint of the thong in the second glorious screenshot you provided.i love her as much as you do, probably more.Let us be eternally grateful we have had the rare privilege of seeing this beautiful little girl on screen in this way!She was only 11 while filming it.

The second image you posted was a different take.if you knew what I knew you'd be one happy man!Zoom the image more,u can see the crease in her butt.Crudely referred to by some as an ass crack.That wouldn't be seen with a thong covering it up

Why do you think they tried to darken those scenes in the first place? Because the censors knew she was nude,and didn't want that to be seen

She was definitely nude in two distinct scenes.The daybed one,and the door.The teeny tiny flesh colored thong came off then my friend! Thankfully for all of our sakes.Notice how long they focused on her nude body on the daybed scene,a good ten seconds or so.Then the door scene,at the last frame before it cut out.She turned towards the camera bending her little athletic beautiful body to the side,so the camera could get a very good view of her bare butt.This was done deliberately,to showcase her naked bottom...the cameraman captured those scenes perfectly and eagerly too I'd imagine.

Ghost,I love what you do and think you are an amazing man.I am posting a lighter version of your screenshot so you can tell there really is nothing there.Jusf the faded imprint of where the thong was.It was plastic like material,and was reflected in the camera in one shot.Not this one though.I rest my case.

All in all, I must admit To this day I don’t understand people’s obsession with her or this film. Maybe it’s just because she was a Young mainstream American actress and usually Americans are more prude.

@goku33.Well you just can't get the appeal of the movie,and Brooke Shields at that age.She was beautiful, flawless.She was a virgin,playing a prostitute.Took her clothes off, fully nude.All at age 11! Was the first modern age lolita, without actually being a Lolita!She paved the way for so many other girls her age and younger.In movies,nude models and life.It is every man's fantasy that appreciates and likes girls her age.What an unbelievable movie,and beautiful love story pretty baby is! Thankfully all the rest of us on here,do know why we love it.

He did it because the role required it and because lolitas were normal in Europe, Hollywood wanted to take that step and not to please Harvey Wensteins nor did it exist at the time, this is merely artistic.

I hope with this I close the topic, and keep uploading updates and remasterings of the movie and don't keep uploading more photos of it, everyone who sees the movie and judges in their own way.

I'm with you on that point sully23.As my dad would say the proof is in the pudding!Here is an article that substanciates the claims about Brooke Shields nude scenes in Pretty baby,they were indeed REAL!What an amazing statement to make,the thong was considered useless after awhile so they ditched it!It doesn't get any better than that!
