For my movies (which are about 1200 now.. ) I created subfolders from A to Z.
The best thing about a NAS is that you don't need a big harddrive in your computer anymore and you don't have to worry about running out of space
Actually there are optional German subtitles for the WHOLE runtime of the long version embedded in part one at ardmediathek, but not in part two. I don't how they expect that to work for online playback! It looks like these same German subtitles are at opensubtitles:

It would take some splitting into the two parts (and translation, for me) but I suppose eventually I can make it work. This is one more item on the sudden mountain of subtitle projects, I guess.Maybe I will just watch this one for the pretty scenery and not worry about the dialog.
Yes I do, still safe and untouched in my "subtitle translation projects" folder. Man, I am lazy. I did not even rename the files. 1080p with German audio
