Congrats! But go back and turn FTP, POP3, and SMTP off (those checkboxes are in the router, right?) Those are only needed if you are running an FTP (file) server or a mail server. Turning them off won't affect eMule, but leaving them on slightly increases your exposure to external attack. I changed my ip address to what it showed me when using ipconfig/all and then when clicking on my connection noticed that certain boxes were not ticked including FTP, POP3 and SMTP.
I ticked the boxes, turned off the router, restarted my computer and then restarted emule. It worked
