I don't know what's wrong with your file. Mine is playing well in every video player.
Maybe your download is corrupt?

Solved! I checked the integrity of the file and it is in pristine condition, so I resorted to the most primitive solution in the world of IT: turned-off-and-on the damn computer and... voilà! now it plays beautifully. Thanx for the hint!

I made corrected german Subs and new english Subs.
My translation was based on a Auto subtitle Generator and turned out to be quite a mess in a few scenes. I corrected and translated now from hearing,

The Extension of the files is *.ass, not *.jpg.
The System didn't accept .ass, so I changed to .jpg. You have to Change back to .ass again and it will work

Next try. Now I made a ZIP-file with the subtitles, abd this is accepted.
