Topaz Video Enhance AI did really a great job on this one.

I got the German audio track from an old VHS and muxed it. So you can choose between French and German audio.

I don't remember what model I used, but yes: It was done with Topaz from the original DVD.
If the source is good, it can do magic. And it was done with a pretty early version. It's getting better and better...

Sounds like a familiar title. I may have downloaded this years ago, but I don't remember, and I never watched it. Looks like a classic with darker themes going on! Added to the watch list.

Thanks ghost for what is likely the best viable option in the world to watch this movie.

There is a listing on rutracker for a supposed "1080p WEB-DL". It is a very similar size to ghost's, but with Russian audio instead of the German. Includes French audio and English subs. Does anyone suppose this is the same file?

There’s definitely now a French 1080p web-dl (3.4 GB). But I also already have a French+German (DL) version at 1080p 4.1GB

Looking at its size, those does seem possibly ghost's file with a Russian VO slapped on it. But ghost's screenshots seem better to me.

I do not remember if I tried it at the beginning of March when you first posted the link, but it downloaded complete for me yesterday with one seeder. Right now I see Zero Peers, Zero Seeders (other than myself).

Examining the full specifications closely, the video and the French audio are the EXACT SAME as ghost's customized AI version. So if you already have ghost's version, only get this one if you want the Russian audio. Of course the main audience for rutracker torrents would be Russian speakers!
