I REALLY hope this has NOT kept you awake for 31 hours relic! But you were right that it was about an unreasonably difficult little Scandinavian blonde of roughly 5-6 years.

IT IS DONE.
Software involved: Avisynth, VirtualDub2, Topaz Video AI 5.0 and Davinci Resolve Studio. More work than I expected...

I don't know if you normally use all four of those softwares for one project, but I DID expect this to be alot of work. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the good work on this project, ghost. I love it when old treasures like this get bumped back up and we find new upgrades and interest in them!

Ghost - you should be hired by the studios. This is high level TV/film restoration stuff. There were even halos above/below the metal bed frame that are gone in the above shots. There's an art to getting it right without creating a fake plastic effect - and you're the best at it!

If they pay me a high salary...
and you're the best at it!
Thanks for the flowers, David. Still learning every day.

From what i can understand is the government has decided in deal that all of DR's Archives shall be made public and they are now working on restoring and releasing it through with a "curated release" on their platform DRTV under the new brand "Gensyn" with updates-on-the-go instead of the now closed and badly kept "Bonanza".
It says it will take time, while The National Royal Library apparently have promised to have the full archive on their own platform done
by the end of 2024 - not sure how to access that though?

Wow, 70 years of television restored and released online!! That will surely include some real treasures for us to dig through.
This is a good explanation as to why only one part has been released so far. Maybe by the end of the year we can see if their restoration is an improvement on ghost's. This also explains why they made no comment on the other two episodes, since their press release already gave an explanation for everything for ALL their series.
I suppose it should not be too hard to Google a web address for the Danish National Royal Library, although I suspect that is probably one of those sites that requires a (Danish) library card number to access the content. At least with the DR archives, some will be available without georestriction, and the rest can be accessed worldwide with a proxy server.
Thank you for providing the scoop on what is going on behind the scenes!

Thank you ghost for all of your hard work and thank you night for the links. I just found my download from 10 years ago and the quality is slightly better than ghost started with. If you want it I will try to upload it.
Someone I also look forward the the release of these films, I hope they are remastered to bluray standard.
Thanks Relic
