It's from the Web rather than a disk, isn't it? It seems as good a name as any to me. Has The Scene come up with a name for AI upscales yet?

This is probably why many people do not label sources in the filename: too much potential for argument. Anyway, ghost's file does not have internal Russian and English subtitles, so there was some additional modification before the TNT and ulozto releases.

WEB in itself would indeed make sense but yes, I’d specify it in the nfo or file name that it’s not a WEB Release the same way as official scene WEB releases (which is always web-dL direkt download).

The WEB is in this case misleading, they should have stuck to The actual source of the video: DVD.AIUpscale.

The same way the polish did it: Sara.1997.AI.DVD.UP.1080p-CVPPStudio.mkv

"UP" sounds good to me, but I want to know if the Scene has defined the terminology because they are the ones who have rules. Everyone else is from the anarchic Wild Wild West and can do as they want, ignoring or following rules or pretending to do so as they please.

When I first saw 1080p web there, I got excited thinking we get an actual real 1080p remastered version..

Hmm, I think you always had this way of thinking ghost, but then our gen always wanted to share things freely.

I'd be tempted to have a gHosT tag lol ... but to realise that it really makes no difference at all shows wisdom, and to value the creaton of files based purely on self worth and creativity for self, it seems, is where you are... bravooooo!!!

Funnily, I’ve known numerous people over the years that did go by the name „ghost“ online and tagged their releases with the name „ghost“.

You can even find a series that is on FLM: „Outnumbered“ that another „ghost“ shared via torrents:
