im downloading that one, Thank you guys for sharing is going very quickly
Ghost's version has a different ORDER of the same scenes, and some find that order makes more sense. Both of the versions were shown decades ago in theaters and are as uncut as is possible.
ooh, i get it, i think if that is canon im okay whit that

No one has valid links ? This film is a rarity, I've never seen it...

I'm really distracted, I was sure I'd checked all the links. Sorry for the inconvenience...

Another film that will force me to create French subtitles...

By the way, I don't see the English subtitles in this topic, am I still distracted ? 8-)

I checked all the links too yesterday. Deadman updated the MEGA *after* you posted, because he likes to keep his links active when people want the files! All we have to do is ask! Zippyshare went offline last year, but MEGA is still around to fix.

You would have to read back several pages of posts for the full discussion about the different edits of the film using the same footage in a different order. At the very least read deadman's post. The BluRay edit does NOT have subtitles that I know of in any language. Ghost's edit of the same footage matches the old DVD edit, and it DOES have subtitles. I could easily post those subtitles as an attachment if anyone wants them but they would not match the scene order of deadman's video. The subtitles at opensubtitles.org should be the same scene order as ghost's version.

So I'm going to let go of the matter for now, if the scenes are out of order I'll struggle to synchronize the subtitles. Moreover, no source offers proper synchronization.

Ghost's 1080p edit is on a TORRENT, with optional internal Russian subtitles muxed in. It downloaded quickly.

English subtitles that match that edit:
Child Bride (1938).1080p.original cut.en.srt

12 yo Shirley Mills is back for an encore in this first-ever bluray edition of Child Bride (1938)
Spoiler:

Be warned. The 1080p resolution and its much greater detail does have one drawback. Every brightness fluctuation and scratch that might be smoothed away by downconversion to 720x480 NTSC stands out. They did the best they could with very old source material. You may find brightness variations distracting in a few scenes but mostly it isn't that bad. Like watching an old movie in the theater, with a classic screen and projector setup.

The ordering of scenes is a little different in this version - apparently the DVDs came from a "remix" print, whereas this is the version that made the rounds back in the day, with all scenes in their original order. So don't freak out half an hour in when Jennie and Freddie don't go swimming on schedule. It happens around the 45 minute mark instead.

There is a commentary track on the disc, which has a female film historian's analysis and perspective on the movie. I found it interesting (even though I disagreed with her on certain points :D). That track is included as a secondary audio.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

Thank you so much. Not gonna ask where you got the bluray. It seems to be a very rare gem. Not much info about bluray. Not even a release date.

I have moles inside the studios who can get me unreleased blurays (shhh).

This is the disc I ordered:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Tomorrow ... ay/266566/

I got it here:

https://www.amazon.com/Tomorrows-Childr ... B085RR64T3

Apparently the price has gone up. Damn tariffs! ;)

One thing I would ask. Avoid quoting entire release posts including non-relevant pictures and direct download links. File hosts delete images and links expire - I can replace them, but your quoted version doesn't change when I do that, so other users see the expired links and don't go back to check the original post. Understand?

Oh, might as well post a remux of this one too while I'm at it:
