IMDB claims 1:35h, sensitivecontent.info also claims 1:35h (probably taken from IMDB).

The two Mega links posted by @Night457 are both shorter and have a different playtime when opened with VLC, but they do not appear to be censored.

Maybe it is due to the framerate not being 30? (I'm not an expert on that, but I've heard it mentioned in this forum when playtime varied.)

Here are the technical details of both files:

A Menina do Lado (1987).VHSrip.480p.SPANISH.WebOKru.mp4
Frame rate: 29.970030
Playtime: 1:25:36
Video resolution: 640x480
Codec: Xvid MPEG-4 Video (XVID)

A.Menina.do.Lado.1987.TVRip.XviD.MP3.MKOff.avi
Frame rate: 29.969736
Playtime: 1:23:58
Video resolution: 644x480
Buffer dimensions: 656x480
Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)

Oh and purely subjective, but I think the TVRIP has a slightly better image.

If a file is 30fps naturally (from an NTSC source, rather than a huge encoding error) then it will have the same runtime as a 24fps film source. (I can't explain the magic involved in that.) Something 25fps will be 4% faster and shorter. I have no idea whether 95 minutes is the correct full runtime or not and realize that sometimes IMDB is in error. But a 4% loss in runtime from 95 minutes is less than 4 minutes, so a speed-up change in runtime should be about 91 minutes. Something else accounts for the 84 / 85 minute files. I don't know what.

Ok, you have to accept that some people have shortcomings but it's difficult to read uninteresting posts on ultra-rehashed fps issues. So please post comments about the movie or find that fucking laserdisc  .

(Sorry, I'm very angry and very disappointed, that's what happens when people revive a topic for a tasteless reason on a film that deserves our full attention. )

The laserdisc was on sale a couple months ago on a Japanese auctions site. Thing is even know people that could digitalize the LD properly. But it was too risky for me to purchase it from overseas (I guess I shouldn’t cause it’s a regular film anyways). Plus over the years my interest in this film has gotten less. The acting is kind of cringe, *especially* during the more sensitive scenes. (Not surprising if you read Up on the instructions the director(s) gave the actress Flavia)

I am sorry about that, Dave. I am more guilty than anyone else of flooding threads with technical discussions even though I supposedly know better. Please forgive! :pray
Spoiler:

People constantly get interested in movies that are new and seem interesting to them, so the thread gets bumped. We also have discussions about proper runtime because the information available is not always accurate and most people do not want to waste time with censored versions. If someone asks a tech-related question then I answer it in the thread where it is asked. The problem comes when the discussion continues: THEN it should go elsewhere. As an example, in this very thread I told YOU how ok.ru videos can be downloaded some months ago. Whether you eventually used that information I don't know, but I still download ok.ru videos the same way. A short while later I shared a MEGA link and that was the end of that issue.

We have to accept that it is the nature of humanity that younger or less experienced people will still be learning and discovering the things that oldtimers will consider "ultra-rehashed". People do not come out of the womb with all information already implanted! There are no high school classes that teach old tech information either. As for this thread, there does not seem to be much else to talk about at all. The announcement of an upcoming 4k UHD release would be great but I do not think it will happen.

I stole this quote from Wikipedia:
Production of LaserDisc players ended in July 2009, when Pioneer stopped making them. Pioneer continued to repair and service players until September 30, 2020, when the remaining parts inventory was exhausted.
I did not have any idea that it lasted THAT long! I should have bought half a dozen new players when I had the money, instead of wasting it on crap DVDs. If someone wants to invest in used technology that is increasingly difficult to repair, they can do that. Most of the discs themselves are at least affordable on eBay. They do not even have to share what they have with anyone else if they do not want to. I would if I could, but that is easy to claim because I do not have a laserdisc player and never did.
I'm sorry I don't have anything to say about the movie because I do not remember if I even watched it!

I'll watch it again if there are subtitles, but unfortunately there aren't any (

Don't worry, you're not at fault :) .

Failing that, I found the German poster, you will notice the sobriety of the visual :!: :D

No, really, I spew whole bunches of nonsense. Even when it is accurate I know it is tedious.

Great poster! I think I saw it for sale on eBay when I was looking (out of curiosity) for the laserdisc.

Someone tried to translate this movie, but half of the text in the subtitles is missing ( , and the time is different, not comparable to the movie
