Have you tried clearing your web browsers entire cache/cookies? Might give split-tunneling a try = only running certain software outside of the vpn while the vpn remains active for the rest of the system. Not sure if they’ve implemented it in their Windows app (Wireguard) already. It does work on Linux and Mullvad.
