Technically it would be a French film, it is directed by a Frenchman, the main actor is French.

Fun fact: Inside Leon's apartment, the scenes were filmed in France, but the exterior shots were filmed in NYC.

The director Luc Besson is French. Jean Reno is French/Spanish playing an Italian-American character. Natalie Portman is Israeli/American and has lived in France, and her character is a New Yorker. The movie takes place and was filmed in New York City with some interiors in France doubling for New York. The production money came from France and U.S. The language of the film is English.

This movie is so popular that it must be impossible to AVOID finding it online on streaming, torrents, direct-download, and emule. Are you interested in an emule file? There are many. I have no idea how to put a date on emule links. Here are a selection of larger files on emule. If interested, you must sort them out by name to figure out the likely specs and download some of the file to verify. I see that a number of them are called "Director's Cut" or "Version Integrale" or "Extended" which would be what you want. As for how LARGE a file you actually want, only you know that! Good luck.
