The final episode will be about 2 hours and 8 minutes long, compared to season four's 2 hours and 22 minutes. I remember reading a news story where someone said the final episode of Stranger Things season 5 would be about 3 hours long (the same length as The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King). But from what I understand, that was bullshit.

I'd like to see if this giant three-headed red dragon like the one Will showed Mike in his drawing in Stranger Things 4 episode 8 really exists.

The final episode will have to be pretty long to resolve things without seeming rushed. This is the series finale. Everything has to be wrapped up. Closer to two hours or three, we won't know until it releases.

From what I've read, that isn't what happens to her.

According to multiple sources, the final episode will run 2 hours and 8 minutes and will be released in theaters in the United States and Canada on December 31st. The final trailer for Volume 3 of the final episode is expected to be released tomorrow. I saw some preview images on Facebook.
As for Millie, I hope she doesn't die, but if she really has to stay in the other world to sacrifice herself, then it's really something to cry about.

Wait ... you mean, you haven't seen
any of it?
You should absolutely watch the first season and decide whether you like it. The whole thing is out so you won't have to wait between seasons anymore if you choose to continue. This was Netflix's first runaway original hit, back when they were taking more chances and seemed less ... corporate.

I remember stumbling onto Stranger Things back in 2016. I hadn't heard any of the buzz, just randomly decided to see what it was about one day after it appeared in my Netflix menu. It was pretty unique. The closest description would be an adaptation of a long lost Stephen King novel. It defies easy classification, maybe a little too intense for very young children but otherwise aimed at (and featuring) multiple generations.
I understand that Netflix was the last stop in trying to sell this concept for its creators, Ross and Matt Duffer. Every other network asked them who this show was supposed to be for. Children or adults? They were advised to either make it into a kids' show like Goosebumps, or a gritty supernatural procedural more like Fringe centered around Jim Hopper. Netflix was trying to get its library of exclusive original content off the ground at that time. They were generous with budgets and creative freedom. More so than now. Apple TV somewhat resembles what Netflix was like in 2016.
