The upscale is very well done ghost, thank you. No artefacts, no doll-like faces, just great.

this was truly a labr of luv: i "dePAL'd" the video which results in a longr runng time & lowrd pitch but also necesitatd painstakngly resynchng the englsh subs file line by line; i'm hapy to shar w/any1 intrestd . . .

Now it has this (normally) jerky framerate of 29,97 frames and a longer playtime. I just can't get the reaon why you did it.

Why not at least 24 or 23,98 fps?

wel, i can try anothr reproductn @ a lowr framerate rite quik & compar the play bak (mpc-hc) but honstly i'm unabl to detect much of the jrky playbak u describ, i'd hav 2 realy use criticl obsrvatn to notic . . .

I didn't describe it ('cause I didn't watch it yet) and my reply wasn't any criticism. I just couldn't get the point why you did your "reproduction".

You converted the movie from PAL to NTSC. Normally movies in cinemas are running at 24 fps.
