Evelyn, Welcome to FLM! FNP is a great private torrent site that only occasionally has open registration. Maybe a FNP member will post here about the next registration period. If you register, just be certain to keep sharing the file long enough to get the needed credit for it. FNP is very generous but there are limits. ... I hope you enjoy this movie.

I'm having an issue with the FnP torrent - it downloaded quickly but upload is sporadic and single digit slow. At this rate I'm going to get in trouble with the site for my ratio. Anyone else encounter this problem? Any suggestions?

Torrents from private trackers use an account-specific announce URL. So... uhhh... people using that torrent file are downloading it as ghost and using ghost's buffer. Although this looks like it's freeleach, so ghost is good on that point.

ghost will probably want to reset their passkey to prevent more people from using their account

I haven't looked at ghost's torrent myself, but it is possible that this is a public torrent for the movie which originates from FNP, but is being shared on public tracker. Maybe?

deadman, I don't think you will need to worry about uploading a large percentage back to other FNP members right away. FNP and a few other trackers (like TLZ and Aither) seem to have "smart" member ratio monitoring which incorporates how long you seed back, as well as much ratio you're able to return. Your upload rate may also be impacted because I think FNP had a freeleech event, and this particular movie may have been just popular enough that you were competing with other members to upload back. If you remain a seeder for long enough periods of time, your accumulate bonus points which can be traded in for free ratio.

That said, they have a minimal expectancy for seeding time. I don't quite know the details, but for the most part it is reasonable. I have been given a couple pre-warnings for downloading and not seeding back. In these cases, I had downloaded and taken a longer break from torrenting to focus on sourcing over emule, so my own fault. I am not quite sure, but it appears that FNP may allow gifting of these bonus points. If you're interested, we can look into this and, if possible, I can give you a bunch of mine so you can exchange for ratio.
