Children in The Crossfire
[REL] Children in the Crossfire (1984) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087048/

The film follows four Irish kids, two girls and two boys, two Protestant and two Catholic, as they are taken in for a summer by two Los Angeles families. Not really typical FLM fare, though it's a nice enough story, especially if you are interested in the subject. Originally an American TV movie, so it's obviously somewhat predictable as different cultures crash together then everyone eventually becomes friendly with (or at least more tolerant of) the others. Interesting to compare the world today to the world of 25 years ago.

Ill have to give it a try!

Please feel free to release it officially, unless you don’t think its FLM material at all.

As per me the revised list is little bit short as follows

1.No Child Of Mine (UK, 1997)
2. Mon Pere Ce Heros (France, 1991), FRENCH version
3. Pleure pas Germaine (2000)
4. Ãngeles y querubines (1972)
5.Stikkfri (Iceland, 1997)

1.No Child Of Mine (UK, 1997)

2. Mon Pere Ce Heros (France, 1991), FRENCH version
That one's not here as far as I know, but Marie Gillain is 16 and right at the upper end of OT.

3. Pleure pas Germaine (2000)

Didn't find an RFF listing.

4. Ãngeles y querubines (1972)
https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... querubines but there's no download link and a quick eMule search didn't turn up anything. The RFF description looks interesting.

5.Stikkfri (Iceland, 1997)
Didn't turn up anything on FLM or eMule on this one. Looks cute, though.

Besides what Phuzzy so nicely compiled :clap...

There is already [REL] Stikkfrí (1997)) [Iceland]

And earlier in this very top10 thread, popdrome had Mon pere ce heros (French version) on his list, and sodepetahi helped out.

French language, English hardsubs. Never got made into an actual REL, will have to get it off archived DVD and look at it.

So that leaves only [REQ] Ãngeles y querubines (1972) [Mexico]. Which looks extremely hard to find, it seems to be on lots of "I'd like to see this" lists.

If any are unseeded ask for a reshare in the appropriate release thread.

I swear I searched FLM for Stikkfri and didn't find it. Thanks, FLL.

This one looked interesting whether it was OT or not. I never would have associated Adam and Eve with vampires. :)
rarefilmfinder.com wrote:The main story of this film is enfolded between opening and closing sequences of a youthful Adam and Eve reliving their famous moment in the Garden of Eden. In the central episode, two young people in love are kept separate by their families. The boy has a monstrous father who lives in a castle and who may or may not actually be a vampire. The girl lives a reasonably prosperous middle-class existence. When the boy's parents die, it looks as though they might be able to get together, but only for a little while. This highly mannered and symbolic Mexican film was made by Rafael Corkidi, the cinematographer for the equally peculiar film, El Topo. - Clarke Fountain, All Movie Guide

The accented í in "Stikkfrí" is unsearchable with the software the site uses. I found the film by searching "Iceland". Also, unfortunately, as of the server problems in February, all older unedited posts are searchable by their title only, not their content, which is actually surprisingly often a good thing but in cases like this causes problems.

There is now a release thread for Mon pere ce heros, with other download choices, at [REL] Mon père, ce héros (1991).

I thought of the accents and searched for just "stik" but it didn't show up (and still doesn't). I've been putting the unaccented title in the movies I release just to ensure search can find them.
