Starring a 9-year-old Jodie Foster!
Two young children, who, rather than part with an old pet lion who was once a circus performer, go on a perilous mountain trek to stay with a recluse friend.
Pretty wild incident happened on-set:
Foster was mauled by a substitute lion used on the film set and still has scars on her back and stomach (the same lion nearly mauled Bob Denver in the Gilligan's Island episode "Feed the Kitty", also as a stand-in for Zamba). "I was walking ahead of him. He was on an invisible leash, some piano wire. He got sick of me being slow, picked me up and held me sideways and shook me like a doll."[3] "I was in shock and thought it was an earthquake. I turned around and saw the entire crew running off in the other direction. The trainer then said, 'Drop it' and he opened his mouth and dropped me."

Anyways, nice upgrade for Napoleon and Samantha (1972)

...

Great movie and a must for Jodie fans. :icon_cool2
I can only quote this post from 10 years ago, because I had the exact same thoughts.

Thank you Kingfisher!

Not exactly a "rare movie", but given that this is the de-facto Jodie Foster thread ATM...

Have quite a special one today... 35mm FHD Open-Matte scan of Taxi Driver (1976) from a BBFC print 8-) I haven't done any sort of DNR or damage reduction myself, as I'm working on another major project ;) . It is an 8GB x265 encode of an 18GB x264 file.

This surely is a very rare one. Thanks KF!

It definitely needs some cleaning. There are many scratches in the picture.

Definitely, and instability. I guess there's room for a 4K 4:3 upscale too, not often you find these native FHD 4:3

The question is: Who will be doing that? :think
