I think hardware should be virtualized. If an app wants a mic, give it a fake mic. If it wants GPS, give it a fake GPS that reports random coordinates.
Yeah, the world is fucked. AI is supposed to make life easier, but it's the opposite. It would be easy to find the product I want by simply listing the products that contain certain keywords. With AI, it takes much longer due to hundreds of "hey, you are not searching for this, but you might be still interested in it" type of results
