Tribute to ghost

Post by Rich_Visiting »   6 likes

Well, this may be the beer talking, as it usually is with me these days lol But I think it's time to recognise ghost's contribution to FLM. Many people will come on here and see me as the founder of the site, with loads of REL's. But really, I was just searching for girls in a drunken haze to distract from my own issues.

In the past years (and from the start), ghost has gone above and beyond and REL'd some stuff with techno knowledge that I could not even imagine. At the same time he's kept an open view of new members and not judged them, even though the site specifics changed.

I'll always remember his initial message to me via emule chat "you seem to have all my shared files on your website" lmao

ghost, you are the Godfather and leader of this site, I could not even have taken it as far as you have. I know my recent posts in the past year have been abit all over the place, I'm just struggling as usual. But you have got your shit together and are doing some amazing work. Hopefully, one day I join you (and maybe stop drinking, but not likely lol ;)) .

Rich :-)

Here here! One of the first things I noticed when I took a serious look at FLM was that this is one of the best places in the world to easily find the rarest and best COA films of all kinds, it's something truly special. The more I looked, the more I noticed ghost was associated with many of the the releases here (along with popdrome, jezevex, Phuzzy, Night, starfish, ART, edit: so many others) and in particular, he's finding or creating the best possible video quality available (for a sharing platform).

I am continuously surprised to come across a recently bumped thread, just to see that it's had its beginnings over 15 years ago, and there was ghost, even back then, sharing the goods! Thanks for all the continued work, sir!

Hey Rich, I might end up liking you more when you're drinking. But good luck on laying off it if you need!

This is something I've been thinking about too. Signed with both hands :thumbsup

(There are several significant past and present contributors besides the ones already mentioned.)

Well.. hmmm... what should it respond... I'm a bit embarrassed :think

Thanks a lot for the flowers, Rich! I discovered FLM in 2004, somehow we met online and we chatted a lot in the old times, I even can't remember how an where.. I just thought "this site has potential" and I wanted to make more out of it. This all happened 18 years ago and it's like a wonder that FLM still exists! A big part in it has mimzy! We all have to thank him for saving the forum, when I couldn't be online anymore for a long time in 2011... but that's a completely different story in my life.....

Thanks also to our long-time-members like popdrome or emuler, and many others. They always kept the site alive. Let's hope for the next 18 years! :thumbsup

100% I don't know much about Mr mimzy but it's awesome that he saved the site and he gives a good vibe on the security side of things, he really seems to know what he is doing! 8-) And I will also say thanks :thumbsup

I subscribe that and fully agree!! Don't know about the godfather part since he hasn't been requiring monthly payments (yet) :icon_gattling :icon_cool2
