That's a thought, hmmm, the English language version of the manga can take the place of English subtitles! Watch 5 minutes of the movie, then read 14 pages of the manga, then watch 5 minutes more ...
From a quick look, it seems to cover the entirety of this first movie.

Thank you Night457 for your prompt response!
I thought I had searched for this film quite a bit on my own, but I had forgotten about a great site called blizzardkid. Thank you so much for your help.
This film is tragic.

Please can someone upload this on mega or stream able. I’ve been looking for this adaptation for ages it’s no where else and the ed2k method isn’t workable for me due to my isp. I tried for 2 hours
It may be that the problem is I have LowID in my eMule. If you have LowID too and no one with HighID is sharing it, then you can not get it on eMule. Here is a Mega direct-download:
[Code]
And apparently the Yandex link at Blizzardkid still works:

Thank you so much, I’ve been a big fan of the manga for years, but I’ve never had the chance to see this version.

I don’t suppose you also have links for Barefoot Gen: Explosion of Tears (1977) and Barefoot Gen Part 3: Battle of Hiroshima (1980)? I’d love to complete my collection
