A thrilling family-oriented edition depicting the struggle against fear and growth experienced by elementary school students, based on the many ghost stories that children all over Japan have become obsessed with, such as "Toilet Hanako-san".
Although the genre is horror, Shochiku's thrilling edition can be enjoyed by both children and adults. When it was released in theaters in the summer of 1995, it became a hot topic along with Toho's first film in the 'Gakko no Kaidan' series. Still, through the experience of fear, boys and girls who find true courage and the warm eyes of parents and teachers who look at them are included, and the climax invites excitement. Appearances include Etsushi Toyokawa, Nene Otsuka, Naoto Takenaka, and Ai Maeda when she was still unknown. Directed by Joji Matsuoka of 'Twinkle Twinkle Hikaru'.
