I like shorts but I have a hard time remembering their titles even more than for feature length films.

The first is #1 for me, the other two are definitely high up -- and I can remember their names!

[REL] Curfew (2012) short [USA]
[REL] Kong-na-mul AKA Sprout (2013) short [South Korea]
[REL] Transmission (2012) short [Australia]

I showed you mine, now you show me yours.

Yes, Night. Curfew is always a winner. :thumbsup

There are so many. I really couldn't pick 3 out of them.

I did a search on my NAS. I really have 796 short films. :o

Thank you reptile and Night for those recommendations. Transmission looked familiar, but I have neither seen it nor downloaded it. Got it now though. And there were a few others mentioned here that I had never downloaded! Big thanks for the lists, guys!

As for my own favorites, I can't say I've seen enough of the classics here to make a proper list. Let me watch a few more and gather my thoughts.

Real Life Exp. (mentioned by reptile) is not on FLM (at least I tried looking). Available on vimeo, hardcoded English subs, with easy download option for full original file:

Looks good, though I'll post this to a proper release post and delete this once I watch it. Unless mr. reptile would like the honor. ;)

reptile12, your choices are great! It was fun matching up the titles with the videos, so I could say "OH YEAH, I remember that one!"

Thank you pillowbaker for hunting down and sharing the ONE I had not seen!

So how are Curfew and Before-I-Disappear related to each other? It is the same lead actress but just 2-3 years apart? They made a Shortfilm into a full feature film?

I just watched the dance scene from „Curfew“; had a really horrible week and this just made my day. Such a cute and fun scene

______

Oh, and I will add shorts that I currently rank high:

* La Puce (1999)
* Anna (2009)
* Reckless (2013)

My favorite short that comes to mind is La Bouche De Jean-Pierre. It's about an hour long, so I guess that counts? google says it is a Short/Comedy(if you've seen this movie just...lol) I don't think I've ever felt as bad for a main character than I did for Mimi in this film. I've known no shortage of neglectful parents/families and this movie portrays it pretty accurately.

Another great one that I found on here is Balkonas. No real reason, it's just well made and cute.

I'll def be checking out the others mentioned in this thread.
