VK.com seems to now require login to stream videos

Just tried it..immediately getting redirected. I guess everything good must come to an end..

Tried with this
https://vk.com/video-59266949_456240734 and jdownloader started to download with no problems
Maybe some videos requires login and other not?

DO NOT go to vk.com
INSTEAD go to vk.com/video
I had noticed this some time before, but fortunately I had some videos bookmarked and could see the difference. If you are interested in the social media aspect of VK, you have to register. There might be some videos that are also restricted, just like YouTube has age-registricted videos. But it seems that generally the videos are still publicly available in the VIDEO section.
If it is STILL a problem for you, then VK may be blocking some IPs. Change the server country on your VPN if you have a VPN.

I tested it a bit more…numerous videos required login while with the same vpn address another video didnt required the login.
I should test It one Desktop with uBlock origin and maybe even noscript addons. On Mobile with Adblocker I get redirects: Briefly the site is being displayed with the vide but then the redirecting happens.

Experimenting with various adblockers is a good idea, I did not think of that. They can certainly help prevent redirects. In Chrome I am using uBlock Origin and Adblock Plus. Your sample video worked with no problems. Although explicit by YouTube standards, I really think a greater test would be the noodlemagazine-type explicitness. If they don't require login for those but do for others, then login must be something required by the uploader.
