Sopor and Bird AKA Sopor y Ave
A group of teenage girls rescued from sex trafficking temporarily live in a shelter. The film follows Abigail, 14, as she returns home, where nothing feels the same. “There isn’t a lot of talk about trafficking in teenage women,” Holberg says. When you are, “It’s the moment or the act of abuse.” Sopor and Bird seeks to “talk about the next moment.”

Hmm, it sounds very interesting. And I know why I missed it - Rich has put it into the Forthcoming Releases category which, I think, never played its actual role and tends to be a little bit overlooked by us. So my - pro futuro - proposal is to cancel this section and move all the movies to the REQuests, Off-topic, or Graveyard. But much more important now is to find this movie...

Because of your post, I merged two of them with their RELease threads, created a REQuest thread for another and merged it, and looked through several others of which some of them are still "Forthcoming" and some of which do not have enough information to positively identify the film. Now I am all tuckered out.

Found it! :icon_1dancingban

The link is here (Pluto TV): https://www.avclub.com/film/reviews/la-piel-pulpo-2022

It's not fake, it's for free, just full of commercials. It's region-restricted (with free US proxy it works) but without a tool like TubeDigger probably undowloadable. Could somebody try to get it? Thx, Jez.

I was probably too fast with my joy. Now it seems to be gone. But the original link was:

https://pluto.tv/us/on-demand/movies/66 ... =justwatch

The video properly played for a while (in so-so 720p quality)...

Thanks jezevex. I was able to get it working too. I went to the main site and search for "piel" and it came up as "on demand", but it still played for me. The controls and setup for plutotv is rather obnoxious. I dinked around with it for a moment and got it to work. I'll have to look into this TubeDigger software someday.

The link I managed to find was

Please move the whole thread from the problematic and neglected "Forthcoming Releases" section to this proper REQuest one. Thx, J.

I have found one more website, but again, quite dubious. If you click on "reproducir", the sub-window with the subscription offers appears. It could be OK, but the prices are 0,00 euros, and if you click on some of the plans, a 404 error appears... Maybe with the Spanish IP, it could work, but it's hard to say...

The second one - https://www.betaseries.com/en/movie/97047-la-piel-pulpo - should tell you in which country it is available for streaming. It could be useful, but why they don't show it automatically and you have to search country by country? I gave up on it, but maybe there is a way how to extract it from the site more effectively...

I still can't believe that one link that actually worked was taken down exactly at the time when I was looking through the movie and trying to find a solution to how to download it. The actresses are maybe close to our age limit but it seemed to be quite interesting.

Ghost, have you tried to find this one? Of course, I'm not imposing on you any task but you are usually quite fortunate in finding Latin America movies although it doesn't seem that you come from this region... :-)
