Thanks for this movie!

There are still some older movies we don't have her after so many years.

Is there any reason why the girl's voice was dubbed by another actress in her 30s...? I've never seen that before...

 I had scrolled through it to check it out and said DAMN! that girl's voice is deep! Jodie Foster as a pre-teen had a relatively deep voice for a child, but this girl here was extraordinary. I finally realized (like you did) that it must be dubbed by an adult.

I have not figured out what exactly the whole plot is, but maybe it is meant to make the girl more mysterious? The lip-sync seems right, so I don't think it is a matter of dubbing over her speaking a different language on set.

It is really strange why such an adult voice for a girl, and voiced by an adult actress, well, perhaps the girl had complications during filming and she lost her voice

Psychological drama in terms of plot, I would actually say that this teenage girl is a mysterious fairy who nudged an elderly man's tragic death at the end (he drowned) ;)
