Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead!

It kind of loses the joke with the other half of the image cut off.

My friend, my reaction when I first read your article. "Actors are dead?" -> :think

After... -> :icon_mf_type

When I realized what was meant... -> :icon_1idiot

:icon_biggrin2

I still laugh at myself. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

One of the recurring jokes in the movie is that it has multiple scenes where the hapless and sometimes dimwitted minor characters from Shakespeare''s "Hamlet" accidentally demonstrate - or ALMOST demonstrate - scientific principles earlier than they were formulated by brilliant scientists. This one has to do with "Newton's cradle" which later became a popular toy on the desks of bored businessman.

Gary Oldman and Tim Roth are still alive. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100519/

I just watched this movie again about a month ago and have seen it half a dozen times before. I am not clever enough to know the scientific principles offhand, just enough to recognize that is what they were doing. I had to internet search something like "ball banging swinging desk toy" to get the name of the thing!
