Oh dear
I did wonder what was going on; I got home after work today and could not get razorback2 back on my list.
Now im just using the server with the most files , that being Donkeyserver No1.
Doesnt look to bad, its only 50million files short of razorbacks lol.

Very sad and you have to wonder if this is the tip of the iceberg ?

Not sure, I like to think that as servers get taken down, new servers are created.
Lets all not get too negeative about this, we dont wana start worrying each other with what ifs.

Lets hope not eh ? Does seem to be very slow at the moment and only a few of the better servers seem to be on line - might be a bit difficult to get connected at the start ?
Questions for the experts -
Should I set up KADMELIA now - I never really understood the difference but did see that using KAD NOT recommended on the EM forum (disconnects etc)
Is there an alternative site to gruk for getting current list of REAL servers ?
Thanks to all for replies and lets make sure we don't get beaten !

:
If you remember last december I gave you the news of the EDonkey client program closing, cause the long legal process taken against his program

Today there's a new step to its killing, Will be the next E-mule, Warez or I-Phant? They wont stop until the desappearing of the P2P comunity, their goal, money, money, money, make them more rich and wont bother us.
Note: By the way Gruk page was hosted in a Razorback server (195.245.244.245) and is not available.

So without getting too dramatic, what (if anything) can we do to make sure the "community" are all in sync over this ? Maybe some private chats are in order to find out what networks are available should it all suddenly go t.u. ?
