RFF wrote:A German outcast, guided by two kids out of the isolation of his cretin exile, must face that he’s developing erotic thoughts drawn to the 11 year old girl. This artistic b&w film seeks to explore how the effects of isolation can affect social values, such as sexual desire, that go against the norm.
CVMC wrote:A loner is befriend by a preteen brother and sister (Dimitra Spanou) and soon thereafter finds himself strongly drawn to the latter. An interesting look at the development of a paedophilic relationship which has a Wim Wenders sort of feel to it. Considering the small amount of dialogue, you don't need to understand German at all to follow this film.

I'll do the 2nd source. Wonder what they did to the missing 34 minutes? :(

lol.... Damn... This looks like a beautiful movie in it's pure simplicity; but it is incomplete:

At the end of the file we have as 'Der Fremde' is sitting eating off a loaf of bread at [presumably] an outdoor cafe', we catch a glimpse of Dimitra walking towards him as the film fades to black. There's a bit of extraneous audio, then the film's title appears.

More than just 'edited', we're missing the entire last 30 or so minutes of the film... It seems like the file we have goes to the 'intermission' and there's another file out there with the conclusion of the movie. :(

Many, MANY thanks to greasemonkey and phuzzy for getting us what we have. Some, at least for me, is better than none. :thumbsup

Hopefully another kind soul will emerge with the rest of the film or a complete version.. :pray
