Regarding so called off-topic releases that everyone is going on about these days.
What about all these releases that star young girls (or boys, god forbid) but contain no special scenes?... they are just as off-topic as anything iv seen moaned about around here lately.

I know lots of us release OT titles with juicy scenes, but what’s with all these regular films??!!

I would like it if more people would make a note of special scenes in there releases so we know whether they are worth downloading or not.

For example:

No1

having her top pulled down by her pervy teacher in a very slow fashion (not enough to see nips of course, but as near as damnit).

No2

a very quick scene of the teacher ripping open Mariel's dungarees while he is on top of her, in an attempted rape scene (some panty and leg showing).

No3

OT if you like boy films!, but I like it cos at least he's making it with a chick

2 girls in School uniform, cute girls at that.
2 love scenes with enough flesh, including a great kiss.
a priest sitting on the back of a school girl while she has a gag in her mouth!

Some might think that not everyone on FLM is after "special scenes", well I disagree!
If anyone using the FLM forum was not interested in "special scenes" I doubt very much that that person would feel he was in the right place, and would leave quick sharp

Special scenes, as you call them, are a bonus. IMO one's enjoyment of a good movie is enhanced by the presence of such scenes.

However, the existence of such scenes do not a good movie make, and their absence in a particular movie does not mean that the movie is no good.

Best to keep an open mind. The more detailed information we have, the better.

Also remember that if I post a review and say it is worth/not worth dload - that is my opinion only and what I will try to do is justify why/why not by giving my impression of film.

I have to agree though with emuler - example is Jestem - mainly boy movie but some girls parts, but the story seems to be excellent (separate post to get subtitles).

I guess that’s fine as long as you state each time that its your personal opinion, otherwise the releaser might not be too happy that you slated his post.

That’s why I rarely make such statements, id be posting them all over the place and causing all sorts of upset with the lack of content im looking for in some releases.

I would rather have some info on what is contained in a film than waste my time downloading it only to find what a huge disappointment it is. For this my reviews are just :-

Brief outline (no spoilers)
Whether it has gals or boys or both (and an indication of how much)
What wearing (if appropriate) e.g. skirts, dresses, uniforms - but enough about boys clothes , seriously, if they wear dungarees or jeans all film, it has to be good story for me to be on topic interest.
Any spec scenes
Whether I would recommend it personally

I think that is enough for people to be able to at least have an idea whether to dload or not ?

For the few that like a plot, I think IMDB CVMC CIC etc can help, but we can point out the tasty bits.

Don't worry. Most members have already formed an opinion of what kind of stuff a particular member likes and factor that into that member's recommendations.

Try not to offend anyone, least of all a releaser. State your findings and your opinion as best you can. Remember that while it may not be such a big deal for people with fast connections, those of us with slow connections can take over a week to get a single movie, and if it is not to our liking and has to be deleted, it really hurts.

you know debaser.. this is exactly what differ between us. FLM can be a great, extensive source for exactly "Childhood Movies". I can't say that i feel to be in the right place, as i'm in a very small minority in here, not interested in "special scenes". When it comes to the chat on "special scenes", i just quick-scroll past them. This because i'm more after good films depicting a childhood thematic. The same with Lost's newsgroup... from time to time things are being uploaded that is purely a very good childhood movie. To get off the board just because others have an other focus for dling a film is stupid, 'cos that means also loosing a great source for very good movies/series from all over the world. Hopefully i will have time in the future to set up a review-site (maybe index-site) for childhood related movies and series.

That must hurt, where as my issue is hadrdrive space.
Iv got 120GB and 80GB internal HD's, and a 250GB external.
I am now down to my last few GIG.

My PC's motherboard will not support any single HD of more than 137.5GB's, and for some reason im on my 3rd USB2 card all of which will not run any external drives at USB2 speed.

Get yourself a USB HUB (powered) about $35, then put up to 5 more 300GB USB drives on it - simple - you have your own movie farm !!

I think most people here have their own motives and so what does it matter what anyone else thinks ? My reviews state whether I feel it is worth downlaoding for story, for scenes or whetever. You have to bear in mind that I do not always have st for film, but I can still tell what is a good story and what (imho) is not. If you post a film which you say has a good story, I will likely take a look, similar with db, if he says has scenes, but I may not think it any good ultimately - that is my own preference.

What I would like to see is reviews which tell ME whether I should bother downloading. As I say, if the gal dresses as a tomboy in ripped jeans through the film, it has to be a good story for me to want to dl - again that is just my pref. So I would like to see reviews which give this information, an outline of the plot (I don't wanta spolier), and what grounds reviwer has for recommend/reject. As you say. most peeps here know what others like so if (for example) DB raves about a film, I will know it has good scenes, if you do, I will know it has a good story - in both cases I would download.
