The stuff you get there is free. But Usenet is much good stuff, so Easynews costs a little.

May I give you an advice? Don't buy a DVD recorder. They suck. Unless it's a combination of digital satellite/cable receiver and DVD recorder.
The set of a sat receiver and a PC with DVD burner is the most appreciated constellation. A standard DVD recorder will record analogue signals from sources like a VHS player/recorder or analogue/digital receiver. Only very few of them feature a digital interface like HDMI and if so, you normally pay much for it. Affordable DVD recorders start at 99 Euros. But, the combination of a good DVD burner (45 Euros) and a grabber (45 Euros), in case you want to rip/burn/convert old VHS tapes to DVD, is much more effective. And faster.
A good DVD recorder also needs a harddrive for buffering, what makes it much more expensive.

Better invest the money in the 10 bucks for an Easynews account and you get Gigs of movies, MP3, pictures and software every month.

It is not his group, he just founded it. This is like people considering themselves to be the owner of a web board, if they only created it.

Since I am a regular poster in that newsgroup - I think I'm free to mention it here. I'm sure TheLost wouldn't mind, but I haven't spoken to him in a while.

Anyway - IF you decide to point yer newsreader to the adress mentioned above - please do read the info files that come with the posts. What the three of us (that's Lost, Deadly and me) do NOT like, is posting links; we consider it spam, and it's part of the ng netiquette, if you know what I mean. Up there it's the real thing - that means, usually good and complete rips. If you'd like to contribute - please do not point to other newsgroups, torrents, or this board - instead contribute yourself.

I just have the sat receiver....but i don't have the time to see all movies for recording those OT....so i need a dvd recorder beacuse i have at least 3000 vhs...and i would to rip all in dvd....or maybe all the OT...so however thanks for the tips
