I've noticed that the RFF Forum has been down for the last couple of days. Does anyone know anything about this?

I think I might have read in one of 'rarefilmfinder's' posts, something along the lines of the site being due for a 'makeover'. Is it being down right now a part of that?

The site itself is still up, just the forum that's down.

this is run by the same guy from CIC right? maybe it is because he is having his summer break

i can ask for you, but it's likely that it's closed for the summer that's all

I had no idea that they were one and the same. I noticed that the RFF site itself was still up while the forum seemed to be 'currently unavailabe', so I was a bit curious as to what was happening.

(Also at CIC if you tried to join close to the time the owner was about to take his 2 month hiatus, you got a message stating just that; that the site would shut down for the summer. RFF Forum gave no warning. Caught me offguard...)

Thanks for the info. I look forward to the forum resuming in a bit. (Maybe it will get a little more traffic... )
