FirstLoveMovies

FLM was created for two reasons, firstly for people who enjoy reminiscing about their own childhood through watching coming of age movies, secondly for those who find children or young girls attractive so as to somewhat fulfil their desires. Well, i think it's been fairly successful, it's a shame more people haven't come forward to post but that is the nature of a p2p forum, i guess for some it felt like an unnecessary risk.

Anyway speaking from a personal point of view i have enjoyed watching movies that i never would have had a chance to see otherwise, especially the ones revolving around very cute little girls growing up. But over the past couple of years i have changed, i dont know how it has come about, perhaps i am just maturing but i now really really appreciate women. Even in the early years when only young girls were in my eyes i probably felt the same, only i think i was not allowing myself to feel this way. I have made no effort to change who i find attractive it has merely come about, quite interesting really.

So to my point... I will not be renewing FLM in December when the current hosting ends. However i will hopefully be transferring it to someone else here (who is willing to pay the £100 for the next year) i have already talked a little bit about this with ghost, he may be willing to do this, but really we need some ideas/offers of what to do in December.

Well, i'll be here until December, i'd just like to sincerely thank ghost for the support and conversation over the years, and Debaser who stepped forward to become admin and has helped here a lot. And thanks to all those who have contributed. Thank You!

I can only hope that come December you may reconsider your decision

If you still feel the same way by December, then I hope ghost will take over.

Lets see: £100 a year to keep FLM running.
Lets forget about the 1000's of members that don’t post releases or even talk for a second and concentrate on the few that do......

10 of the most keen members could send ghost just £10ea via Paypal, and for that we have another year of downloading 1000's of pounds worth of rare movies.

We'd be stupid not too, surely!!

Or how about 20 of us sent £5 ea??.. Losing FLM over a few pounds each would be a very silly thing, something we would live to regret.

Maybe someone here can set up a poll so we can see how many users would consider a small one off payment to keep things running.

There is one other solution I can think of.
WinMX has chat channels.
I can open a channel called FirstLoveMovies where we can all congregate.
In the chat room we can share selected folders with each other and chat in real time.
Think about it, we can still use eMule to locate rare titles, but then share/trade them with each other on WinMX, where you can download an entire movie in just an hour.
Its just an idea.

Hmmmmm... Rich already talked to me about this.. I woud be very sorry if he wouldn't change his mind until december, but i have to respect his decision.

But don't worry, FLM won't die. We will find a way to pay the bill in the next 3 months...

Wow, some 'heavy' news to take on a sunday evening.. anyways, moneywise, there will be no prob, i'll be happy to chip in. I'm sure ghost, debaser and all will keep it going. (starting to learn mySQL and php now, so maybe I can contribute there when time comes)
As Ghost said, hope you change your mind Rich, but if not: Thank you so very much for all you've done!

I feel badly about this. if I wasn't always broke, I would send something to help out. All I can do is be a source for people downloading movies right now. Thats the problem with being disabled. The government coul dcare less about the twenty years i contributed to the tax base, but now, they give me a pittance to live on with disablity. <Sigh>

i'll start a poll asking how people would like to donate towards the next years hosting, perhaps people would like to throw some ideas into the air. paypal is the obvious but it offers little anonymisity to the donator and the payee. any ideas welcome.
