There was a lot of good shows that used to leak into Canada from France from the seventies and eighties. Most of the movies and (and the recent clips I posted) are from France and that time period. What kind of current homegrown shows do you get that may be of interest here? I get TV5, but of late, it really sucks. Mostly talk shows and political stuff.
I'd also love to see a selection of France's TV commercials that may be of interest here at FLM. I was thinking of compiling a collection of commercials myself actually, of what is playing right now on Canadian TV. I only wish I had done it in the seventies and eighties.

In Canada we used to get TV5.org which is the best channel and it is from France.
They then let the morons in Canada take over (now TV5.ca) and the channel is really not worth watching anymore as they hardly have anything good on.
For the longest time after the change they would not even show movies, just mostly talk shows or the 24hrs in some far away destination.
Also they move shows and movies around so much you can't really get into the channel anymore.
That is why the channel sucks

Yeah, now I remember that. Personally, I hate these Canadianized channels. I don't want BBC Canada, I want the real BBC1 or 2 or whatever. I mean, they don't feed us ABC-Canada, or FOX-Canada, so why can't they give us real channels from Europe?
Anyhow, I was hoping there would be at least 1 member here from France who could do some recording for us. I could check out the web pages for the various French channels for shows of topic and make a request, but It would be better to get info from someone on the scene.
