that's what I used to do, periodically search for the REQ's posted on this forum (including their various different movie title names) then check those websites above and do similar searches, it was kind of like fishing oh and can also vary the search fields, file sizes, file extensions, of emule search. especially use the AND NOT OR commands and brackets of emule search so 5+ titles can be searched for at a time

Just play around with the search commands and filtering out parts of the title that bring up other titles. Comments and further emule search tips welcome on this thread.

Be aware that servers don't like you doing too many global and server searches. Each search costs about 100 server credits; if you run out, they'll blacklist your sorry ass. Better do your search phrase refining using other search methods, eg, eMugle.com, filehash.com filedonkey.com, google. When you've settled on a search phrase that eliminates most of the undesired results, do a global search.

If you get fewer than expected results, you are probably blacklisted. Sometimes the server connection gets stale, resulting in no response to a search request. Try cancelling the search, connecting to another server, and repeating the search.

An eMule search will give you about 300 results at a time. Click the 'more' button to get the next batch of 300 results.

Use the size and type filters intelligently to cut down bad results. Eg. most movies are about 700MB or more; setting the min size filter to, say, 400MB cuts out the non-movie crap. When searching for subs, set the max size filter to 10MB, and exclude jpg, mp3.

never had any trouble at all from searching!! searching is the essence of p2p, finding treasures/rarities made available throughout the world that could be lost to history, a worldwide archive that transcends copyright.

I got to tell you it's the first time I've heard of this. And I'm a heavy searcher - I search all the time quite frequently. I've never experienced any problems. Can you link to any documentation on this?
