Someone on emule is using the same exact user name as mine (which is the same as what I use at FLM). I don't know whether I should feel flattered or annoyed.

It happened to me too once.

I was annoyed.
To start with I thought I was queing myself, then it turned out that someone on FLM was just trying out some cloning tool.

I never really understood, but I guess anyone can apply any name they wish.

They disappeared as soon as I posted this.

Similar thing happened to me a while ago, every time I changed my name this users name would change too, I got sick of it so I added them to my IP filter.

Sounds annoying, probably people messing about thinking there clever.

ye folks have a serious security problem. Better install an e-mule-mod with "Argos"-anti-leecher-system. Nick thief mods are trying to profit from your credits and infiltrate a foreign community like FLM; sometimes they even copy your user hash! One of the methods "Argos" punishes nick thiefs is multiplying their credit points with, let's say, 0.5!

I did a quick google search, and it appears that infomation on this is aimed at users that have a degree in math lol

But that's just my opinion, and ghost, for example, prefers another mod.

Best you google for mods that contain ARGOS!

By the way, the regular eMule 47c version contains some anti leeching possibilities, too!
