Started today - anyone have more info and/or same problem ? Donkey No.1 and 5 tried.

I always use Donkey No2. Its locating files, but not nearly as many results as usual.
For example; I entered a very common search term that I cannot possible divulge, and I got back just 20 results, where as normally I would have gotten 300+.

F*** - If you look at the server information, the numbers of a files shares isn’t on display?????????
That’s it, im staying on KAD, and KAD is 10x better anyway.... well as long as the title of the file you are searching for doesn’t have less than 3 letters!

this decribes the behaviour perfectly.

My speeds are fine, though (touch wood). DonkeyServers seem to be having problems. Hope everything gets sorted out soon.

If you look at the "sources info" links a lot then you will have probably have noticed that the number of sources it reports has intermittently been quite low lately. The reports are generated completely from the servers, it sure looks like there have been server problems lately.

All the DonkeyServers are now showing 0 files. This is not good.

KAD works fine, and other servers will always come along to take the place of old servers

The DonkeyServers going offline could be related to that, but noone really knows for certain at this point. Notice that that article which talks about injunctions is two months old, it's dated July 16th. Maybe that's it and the implementation was delayed 60 days. It is probable though that that the big German servers won't be back unless they are moved to a more p2p- friendly country.
