IMDb wrote:Gilles and Christine a boy and a girl live in the outskirts of Paris, their families are ineffective and distant and they lead a purposeless life. They steal some records in a supermarket but she is caught and sent to a nursing home by force by her parents. She escapes and follows Gilles to a house where some other youths live. They then decide to go south: Christine has been told there is a commune there, where artists live. So they head south sleeping rough..

Here's something for Virginie Ledoyen fans until the film Mima is released. She's 17 in this one, and has a nice OT scene near the end of the film. Not as good as 'Le Voleur d'enfants', the quality of the rip is pretty crappy, and it's dubbed in Italian. But enjoy! Films like this are becoming harder and harder to find.

Not my rip. Kudos to the original poster:

Got a decent 1080p upgrade from the Criterion Collection Blu-Ray. Not the best transfer I've seen but it's quite a bit better than the rip from well over a decade ago. It also has the original French audio track as opposed to the Italian dub. This film is kind of on the border of OT, since Virginie Ledoyen was 17 at the time of filming this, but it's nevertheless nice to see her growing up here after her standout performances in Mima and Le Voleur d'enfants.

Yeah, I suppose that would make her 16 then. Interesting, I always read she was 17 there. Thanks for the info!

I thought I might add something. I found some subtitles for this that someone at CG modified slightly. I can't speak for the file kindly shared by Soundchaser above, but comparing to other subs, these have a few added lines, in addition to:
I have included my own new subtitles, which include a long section in the film where the boy recites part of an Allen Ginsberg poem in English but with an unintelligibly heavy French accent.
