Google Translate adds 10 new languages...

The online translation function now can understand 10 more languages:

Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hindi, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, and Swedish.

That brings the total to 23 languages.

Excellent new options for translating movie descriptions.

And some of the Russian translations I have done recently with Google aren't that bad, maybe I was lucky or maybe they have improved it.

Down the road subs might even be translatable in a reasonable fashion... I did this for one short with fair results (I understood the whole thing much better but the tense of what was spoken in a critical scene was important and I wasn't certain of it so I never posted them here). And online translation can only get better. I will try some more subs when I get a chance.

Heh. I am surprised (a little) that Google hasn't thrown in Redneck, Jive, Pig Latin etc as choices for one of their annual April Fools day jokes.
