I'm from the US too... Embrasse moi pretty much means 'Embrace me', although the English version of the title is supposed to be 'Kiss Me'. The title is sorta pivotal to the story as it's about a young girl pretty much neglected by both parents, searching to feel loved.

Nationality doesn't have anything to do with not knowing other languages. It's a choice each person makes for their own life; to learn them or not. :think

A small bit of help translating things is AltaVista BabalFish [now taken over by Yahoo]:

Good luck. ;)

"im from the us" should NOT (and in fact does not, for most of us) mean the same as "I am too lazy or dumb to Google for the answer to any of my questions."

Google translate helpfully provides the answer: "kiss me".

Hum, as far as my knowledge of French reaches "embrasser" means "to hug". "To kiss" in French is " baiser". Anyway the sense is the same.

This belongs in the General section, NOT in the release section of the forum. :naughty

charlottegainsbourg, please think a little more before posting.

You need only take a look at the forum layout to realise that this thread cannot possibly belong in the request section.
For one thing, the subject title looks totally out of place, and stands out like a sore thumb!

Right, emuler, and thanks Debaser for moving.

My excuse [for NOT moving thread ;) ]:

It was really late last night [my time] when I made my post and after I thought about the fact it was in the wrong forum I was too fried to do it... :blush

:mucho embarrassed!
