The worst drought in Australia for many years forces her and her parents to settle in Sydney and the pain of adjusting to a lifestyle that she hates almost becomes too much for Matilda - but only almost, because there is always someone worse off than yourself.

The quality of this rip seems reasonable apart from the dreadful colour. I'll be happy to play
around with this in vdub to attempt to improve the colour, rectify the low audio volume &
re-encode to a more agreeable file size.

The color saturation is really too high. You can correct it with your movie player.
If you re-encode a film, you always lose quality, more if you resize.
Anyway your work is correct and the movie viewable.
