Hmm in german i always getting this error message:
Der Prozedureinsprungpunkt "FromLocaleDup" wurde in der DLL "libvlc.dll" nicht gefunden.
After klicking this away the player is staring without problems. Any idea about this?

OK, this because of the partfile_plugin.. It seems that it isn't needed any more
A real improvement.
But why the new version can't store the windows position???

Runs just fine under XP. Now going to install under Vista.

I can't get any skins working!
I click at 'save', but when i restart VLC, it is back at the default.vlt
Any solution?

Start>Programme>Videolan>Quick Settings>Interface>Set Main Interface to skinnable schon probiert?

This is, what i did before!

When i click 'save', the preferences window and the player closes.
When i start VLC again, it looks like this:

and this!! :

= without any skin!

right-click on the upper part of the frame of your "without any skin"-player>interface>skin auswählen (oder wie das auf Englisch heißt)>presume....lol

Ahhhh! The path to the skin file must be in backslashes!
