This is exactly the point of rehashing the subject of direct download vs. eMule.
https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... highlight=
What possible reason could you have for closing this thread or any other thread I've debated?
This is the third time admin have said, "if you don't like it here, leave", then locked the motherfucking thread. That simply tells me there is something I am not seeing. And something that those who know more about eMule than I, are not telling.
"This is an eMule Forum," Bullshit! This is a forum that uses any means possible to get first love movies. And yet, once it has them, relies on this snobbish eMule attitude to exclude others.
Now, I haven't anything further to add regarding direct download vs eMule. As far as I'm concern, everything I've written is fact. When you close a thread and don't allow all the facts, you've arbitrarily end the discussion for personal reasons. Which can never be confused with fact.

It is not bullshit that this is an eMule only forum.
It was eMule based long before you started, but you seem intent on changing that.
Try to see it from long term member’s points of view:
You come waltzing in as a noob and try and to change the format, so we are bound to be more than a little upset about it!
Anyway, you are now allowed to post direct downloads in certain circumstances, so please just be grateful for that!
I am sure that those that download from direct links are greatful to you.

First off... Thx for not locking this thread. It is true, I'm a noob, but I've been in the trenches. I know you pretty well, and others. It was never my intention to change this forum from eMule to direct download, just give the forum something back.

Rather than just provide direct links for films that are already there on ed2k, why not go the other way and do what I'm doing for the past few weeks, i.e. download something from direct links and share on ed2k. I know several members here who do that (FLL for instance got several files from Usenet and posted them here). That is bound to increase your popularity.

Sharing on eMule is not a good way for me to give back. My connection is not stable. I recently Ripped/released "The Good Son." Shared it a month. Not sure one person was able to download it.
My popularity? With whom? Every hardliner eMuler here, with the exception of a few are total assholes. lol.

If you can't share on eMule, at least post direct links to movies that are NOT available on eMule. Then we can download from those direct links and reshare on eMule.
The trouble with direct links is this:
if someone reports it, the host kills it.
if for 30 days no one downloads it, the host deletes it.
Time and time again I have painstakingly found direct links for a rare movie, only to find that the links are dead.
And that is why we love ed2k. If for example ghost from Germany can't share Maladolescenza, we have members from India, Korea, Russia, etc. who can and will.

I like to stay portable.
