a.b.m.tlm's Deadly recently posted episode 1 of this educational kids TV series about the human body. There are 26 episodes but he doesn't have them all and this is the only one he has worth posting.
Deadly wrote:Plot Outline:
Each episode discusses a different topic, but generally the focus is on some part of the human body. Teaching is done visually and verbally.
As I said, I DON'T have ALL of the episodes, so, I can only speak for the few that I DO have. Aside from the opening sequence of the lil' girl, which is the same in each episode, there is no "cutie content" (quoting ElmTree) in any other episode, except for the first one. The other shows (the few that I have) are mainly the host talking and demonstrating through props and animated graphics, and then there's usually a brief "sit-down" discussion with a couple of kids at the end of each show.
Someone else described this episode:
MrD wrote:If i am not misstaken, this first episode was about cells and bacteria. I think the narrator was jumping about inside the mouth showing how cells and viruses and the bodies own defence mechanism can defend itself. However, he also said that there is no medicine against viruses etc.
Later on, there were 3 children being interviewed. The oldest boy in the middle apparantly had "Leukemia" and was explaining a few things that he learned about cells and cancer etc.
The next episode [which we don't have] is about how we are "concieved".

Good find, Phuzzy. Let's hope it turns out to be one of the interesting ones.

I don't like it when filenames are edited to cut out "extraneous" information. That information is often useful to a collector (which I consider myself). The information in Phuzzy's link led me to links for more episodes.
Now... NONE of these appear to have complete sources right now, some have no sources at all. But just having the links might help, and maybe a source might show at some point.

Seerstorm
Google translator wrote:Viewer Storm
When we sent the first program was the viewing storm from some circles in the South and West country, because there was so much nudity. Although it was over after three programs, called respectively "cells", "How do we get to" and "skin", it was NOK that some children refused to watch the series. When it came in the reprise the first time a couple of years after there were no such reactions, as attitudes change. Today, some of the episodes recommended aids in primary school.

The Norwegian text seems to say that some children were not allowed to see the series. Google translation gives the impression that the children did not want to watch the series themselves
BTW,
