In a tragic turn of events, Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32. The actress went into cardiac arrest early Sunday morning in LA, and, despite being rushed to hospital, she was dead on arrival.
I'll second that.. Very sad moment. She was one of those lovely actresses that didn't really make a big splash, but carried herself wonderfully in every film I saw her in..
I'm going to miss her pouty looks..
An undetected heart defect? Sort of like what happened to John Ritter.
My sympathies go out to her family.

She was one of my fav's for a long time. I will miss seeing her on screen. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Unfortunately, with so many of the young Hollywood deaths in recent years being drug-related, I am holding my breath on this. I hope for her legacy it was purely a medical issue. Sad either way. Uptown Girls was to me her best film and a lot of that was a reflection of Dakota Fanning, I think she never quite achieved her full potential. Still, a good actress who will be missed.

Sadly, if rumour & speculation is to be believed, it appears there was a dependence on prescription drugs...........realistically cardiac arrest just doesn't happen to people of her age unless there are underlying health issues.
Whatever.......a tragedy & possibly yet another wasted life.
